Packers Return With a Vengeance
Green Bay Packers tickets come into the 2015 season as a top notch choice for NFL fans. The Packers are among the elite of the NFL, delivering plenty of offense, wins in bunches, and the chance to see a truly gifted quarterback work a bevy of talent game after game. The only thing left to do for the Packers is to get to the Super Bowl. Read More...
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers delivered one of his best seasons in 2014 and that’s saying something. Rodgers was the Offensive MVP, throwing for 4,381 yards and 38 touchdowns. He hold the top pass in passing efficiency at 106. There’s not much left for Aaron Rodgers to do except get back to the big game and win it again. Green Bay management is convinced they have the players to do it.
Running back Eddie Lacy is the kind of driving force every NFL teams needs. He ‘s a breakaway threat in the open and tough to bring down in a crowd. He works well in the passing game, and when Lacy is given the ball 20 or more times a game the Packers are almost assured of a win. The receiving duo of Randall Conn and Jordy Nelson is a 1-2 punch that gives defense fits and after drafting Ty Montgomery out of Stanford in the 3rd round, the Green Bay Packers now have another game breaking option. Montgomery also figures to give the return game a major boost after scoring five touchdowns in his career at Stanford.
Dom Capers has put together a very flexible defense with plenty of moving pieces. The Packers can adapt their system to any offense. Clay Mathews plays inside or outside, the defensive line is solid with Letroy Guion and B.J. Raji. If there are decisions to be made it’s on the corner where Green Bay must find replacements for Davon House and Tramon Williams. Sam Shields should move into one spot. The other side is wide open but there are plenty of competent choices. Ha-Ha Clinton Dix had a promising rookie season and should be better in 2015.
The Gut Check
Green Bay packers tickets are a legacy item in the world of Packers fans, passed down from generation to generation. 2015 is an excellent year to own a piece of that legacy. The Packers will compete for a Super Bowl, again, and as long as Aaron Rodgers stays healthy, are a good bet to get back to an NFC Championship and take a trip to San Francisco.
Green bay Packers tickets delivered big and are ready to top themselves in 2015. Last season was just the appetizer it seems as one of the NFL’s youngest teams made huge strides and provided fans with as exciting a playoff games as you can get. QB Aaron Rodgers had 45 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions, good for a passer rating of 122.5, which is now the best single season passer rating in NFL history. Packers ticket holders watched their team battle to an 11-5 record and second place in the NFC North. Their season ended with an amazing 51-45 loss to the Arizona Cardinals that will go down in the record books. It’s all a prelude to what should be an even better 2015 as the Green Bay Packers seek to de-throne the Vikings as the NFC North Champion. Buckle your chin straps. Green Bay Packers tickets are ready to deliver the killing blow in the NFC.
Aaron Rodgers has established himself as one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL, earning a spot in the Pro Bowl along the way. Rodgers is savvy and his accuracy is good, rarely throwing the errant pass. His ability to evade the rush and gain yards with his feet drives defenses batty. Rodgers has now thrown for over 4,000 yards in each of his two seasons as a starter and his 3rd down success rate is the best in the NFL. The Packers have provided him with excellent wide receivers in Greg Jennings and Donald Driver. Jennings racked up 68 catches for 1,113 yards and four TD’s while Driver led the Pack with 70 catches and six TD’s. On the ground, running back Ryan Grant posted a career year with 1,253 yards and 11 touchdowns. A battering ram of a runner, Grant rarely misses time and provides a reliable weapon to keep defenses honest.
Defensive Coordinator Dom Capers has built a young and improving defense. Running a 3-4 scheme, Green Bay was very good against the run in 2009 but could stand to improve the rush on passing downs. Ryan Pickett is solid at nose tackle and DE Johnny Jolly provides pressure from the outside. B.J. Raji, 2009 draft pick, should have more to offer in 2010. Clay Mathews was a beast from the linebackers position. Joining the starting unit in Week 4, Mathews earned a Pro Bowl nod in his rookie campaign. A.J. Hawk needs to pick up his game in 2010 after losing his starting spot to Brandon Chillar. Overall the Packers have enough talent in the second tier but have to get better production. Of course the Green Bay secondary shines with Charles Woodson as the Grand Master. Fingers are crossed that his opposite number Al Harris will regain his form after a knee injury sidelined him late in the season.
Naturally, Packers tickets for the head to head matchup with the Minnesota Vikings in Lambeau Field top the list of Packers tickets for Cheeseheads. The battle for the NFC North plus the impetus of beating Brett Favre adds up to a mega-game. The Dallas Cowboys, expected to compete for a super Bowl, arrive in November. Matchups with the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants could also determine where the Packers fall in the playoff seeding.
